Review is specific to 2006 (9th generation) Corolla.FYI for all the complainers about "extra material left over after install" or "no instructions". For those nobs I have the following before I begin the review:1. Watch the install video! It will all be crystal clear after you watch the video. If you can't find the video on the manufacturers web site or the most popular Tube site in the world then... stop reading! You're too dumb.2. The first time you do an install you will be tempted to end you're own life. Do it when you have time and are not in a rush. Find a Zen rock garden, drink green tea, listen to the pan flute and wind chimes while you find your 'happy place' because you will need it.Review:This took me about 2 hours to install and when I was done the finished product looked like stock seats from the factory. The only give away are the zippers in the back seat and the baggy front head rests. After doing it once I could now do it in a little over half an hour no problem. The charcoal grey looked perfect in my Corolla. I was extremely pleased with my purchase that was under forty bucks and half the price of anything at my local box store. Happy until... day two that is.I read a review where a woman said she picked the fabric easily with her finger nail. I though no one is going to manufacture a seat cover that would pick that easy. They do!My cargo pants have a velcro flap that covers my bum 'wallet' pocket. I sat in the driver seat once and when I got up I was shocked at what happened! Fill blanks with curse words ($@!&*#). Even if nothing like Velcro catches on them the wear and tear of getting in and out of the seat is enough to make them look terrible.Good news is Amazon gave me a full refund.I have NO idea how FH-Group engineers can continue to use such a frail fabric. Please stop FH!The weakest links are:1. The fabric.2. The mesh netting. There are fastening cords connected to this mesh to be secured with hooks. DON'T PULL TOO HARD AS IT CAN BE TORN EASILY OFF THE MESH.The covers look about as custom as you can get without spending custom cover money.I would not recommend them unless you don't plan on driving your car. You drive your car naked. You drive your car in silk PJ's.I plan on spending double this and getting the synthetic leather once next from FH. The faux leather should be more durable then this fabric... I hope?Tips:After reading the reviews and seeing how many people are having problems with the back seat I implore you to TAKE OUT THE REAR BENCH SEAT! My Corolla I was able to just pull the seat up and it pops out of two spots, done! Just like in the video. Once you take the seat out the cover goes on like butter and then snaps back in. I don't see how you can get a 'perfect' fit without removing the seat?Forget the 'twist' pins... whatever they are from someone else's review. Take out the back seat. You will spend less time then if you fiddles with pins. The rear head rest fit to perfection.* The Corolla has this weird middle head rest that is smaller then the other two. Like some runt of the litter head rest? Pull it out and put it in the back of the garage. Forgetaboutit. The back seat looks better without the goofy middle headrest. The front seat headrests are a baggy fit. I didn't do this but will on my next leatherette covers. Take off the covers and turn them inside out. Use a sewing machine (yes I'm a man and do have a sewing machine) and run a parallel stitch but about an inch more in (or whatever your car calls for) until it's nice and tight. I Macgyvered something else in the mean time to make it taut but I'm not going to get into it.When the trunk is open you will see the zig-zag cross of the stretch cords that secure the back rest part of the seat cover. If this bothers you as much as it does to have to see Justin Beeber's face all over the place then you have two choices:1. In the Corolla you can actually loosen the carpet a bit and thread the straps behind the carpet making it invisible. You will need a coat hanger straightened with a bent loop on the end. Add 20 minutes to your prep time and a few more minutes in the Zen garden meditating.2. Cut a piece of black cloth or carpet that matches your trunk color. The dollar store has Velcro with tape on the back. Glue a few pieces using the 'hook' scratchy part of the Velcro to the fabric and just press up again the seat back. Done. This was as thorough as I could be in hopes of helping someone else.Trust me! Just spend twice as much (it's till only 70.00 bucks) and get the leatherette from FH!My mom has custom seat covers from Cover King for her car while my younger bro has generic ones for his. The Cover King set is definitely of superior quality, especially the mechanisms that keep the seat covers strapped in. However, the generic ones do still fit great. Considering they cost only a tenth of Cover King's, I decided to go for a generic set for myself. And after a month and a half, and some additional tweaking, I'm satisfied with my decision.I'll say outright the FH-FB051115 is neither a perfect nor near perfect fit. I will however give FH Group some slack considering how unconventional the seats in my car are, which is a 2011 Honda Fit Sport. There will be quite a few wrinkles and looseness especially with the headrest and backseat covers. This is where Cover King has a greater advantage: they use a combination of straps, clips, hooks, and Velcro positioned in the most convenient and effective positions. The FH-FB051115 is anchored to the seats with only straps, elastics, hoops, and optional clips that result in a somewhat flimsier fit. I couldn't figure out how to effectively use the optional clips so I completely omitted them in my particular installation. Also, the straps and hoops can be ripped off if pulled too strong too fast. I really suggest going slow when tightening everything. To be more specific about the somewhat flimsy fit, the headrest covers just aren't shaped properly for those of the Honda Fit's. I was able to stretch and tuck them in for an approximation, which I think turned out great but still not near factory-installed caliber. Still, the FH-FB051115 just isn't 100% compatible with the Honda Fit's seats. The most prominent incompatibilities are with the seat belt buckles and the way the Magic Seats function. Simply, you can't do any inserting where the buckles are because there aren't any little crevices for the fabric to go into. It's even more pronounced with the Magic Seats since utilizing them loosens the seat covers. Maybe cutting a slit for the buckles to go through might help, but I'm loath to do any irreversible alterations. I've even left off the armrest because of that. I did make slits for the holes for the headrests, but those were minute and easily hidden.Despite my complaints, I'm actually quite happy how the FH-FB051115 looks in my car, especially considering the low price. Look at the pics I uploaded and you can see how well they conform. Sitting on and getting off of them after a few days does loosen the fitment, but nothing a quick re-tuck can't fix. Unfortunately, how it interacts with the Magic Seats I'm not happy at all with. In their usual position, the FH-FB051115 looks very good on the Magic Seats, but flipping them up and down now requires added steps with the zippers and all the re-tucking. At the very least the Magic Seats still retain their function, but I'm probably going to replace the back with Cover King. For now, the FH-FB051115 gratifies me superficially.poor quality as are all of this type difficult to fit. Gave up as look so poor better to get fabric cleaner if trying to cover marksthey are quite nice, and fit reasonably well, but could be betterIt is good, worth of money. I would recommend it surely :)Great price for a full set.Not good fitting around the seats
